AERIAL FILMING & PHOTOGRAPHY

There is a rapidly growing world-wide trend towards endurance sports like motor-biking, off-road rallies, mountain biking, road cycling, long distance running and paddling, all of which require having footage... aerial footage being the preferred medium. 

 Helicopters have very unique capabilities and are therefore extremely useful to use as a platform for filming and photography. 

Our very experienced pilots at 360 Aviation are in tune with the machines they fly and know just how to maximize these unique capabilities in order to get the best angles and shots for the cameramen. 

 In the past, we have been involved not only in filming, but also in rescue as well as race security and have therefore managed to get the logistics of this type of operation down to a fine art. Our proficient and skillful ground crew work hand-in-hand with our pilots and know just how to be in the right place at the right time to ensure a quick and efficient turnaround when it comes to re-fueling the helicopters.

Please note: If you wish to do aerial filming or photography in the Gauteng Area, permission from CAMU must first be obtained in most cases - this process usually takes up to 24 hours. Please make allowance for this when planning your Aerial Shoot.
